Top 5 Reasons You Need Nutritional Therapy

#1 - You are trying to make healthy choices, but nutrition advice is conflicting and overwhelming.

We have ALL been there. The world is full of advice for how to be the healthiest, or lose weight, or get fit, or balance hormones, or “cleanse” or whatever it is. Do I eat 6 small meals a day or fast? Do I cut calories or count macros? Do I workout high intensity daily, or take rest days and sync to my cycle? Is dairy making me fat? Is vegetable oil heart healthy or health destructive? Paleo or vegan?? It depends on who you ask, and you can search the internet and find a case for whichever side you want to. While there are some things that are true across the board, your health is entirely individual. The healthiest choices for you are just that- individual to you! Nutritional therapy takes into account your health history, your environmental exposures, sleep, stress, hormones, sensitivities, work, budget, time, etc. No program, or info on the internet knows all of this about you! Partnering with a nutritional therapy practitioner gives you someone to know your whole journey and tailor health recommendations to everything pertinent.

Perhaps you have symptoms that do not seem right, or a diagnosis you want to support your body through. Or maybe your labs all come back “normal” but you still don’t feel yourself. With a different doctor for every possible problem, the current medical model does not acknowledge this. A body in balance knows what to do and has incredible capacity to heal, restore, regenerate, and correct itself when given the tools to do so! When we bring it all back to supporting the six foundations- diet, digestion, blood sugar regulation, fatty acids, minerals, & hydration - many start to notice symptom burden decrease ALL across the board due to the massive impact each of these foundations has on the body, and due to the way the body works as one whole.
